See what each pupil got right, not how long they played.

Counted from the answers they give in their quests, word by word: right first time, with tap help, or not heard.

The whole class on one page.

How many pupils have finished each mission of the current chapter, which words several pupils needed help with, and who is worth a look. Pupils stand in name order and are never ranked.

After play, every pupil has a progress page.

Week by week: what was said right first time, what needed tap help, and what the microphone could not make out. Then every word they practised.

Coming next: what to practise, written from the answers.

Coming in a later update

The app will draft “Going well” and “Next focus” with AI from each pupil's answers, for you to check, and every number will link to the answers behind it. It will suggest a practice quest, and you decide whether to assign it. The pupil sees a normal quest and is never told why.

Print it or save it as a PDF.

Each pupil's page opens a report with the counts, the weeks and the words, laid out for A4, for example for a parents' evening or the school file. You can add a note before you print it. The note is not saved.

What we count, and what we don't.

The pages count what pupils answer and finish in their quests. These five rules hold on all of them.

  • Not heard is never wrong.

When the microphone cannot make out an answer, it is shown apart as not heard and never counts against the pupil.

Teacher appAnswers we couldn't understand. Not counted as wrong.

  • Tap help is kept apart.

A pupil who says a word, misses, then taps the right answer is counted with tap help, never as right first time.

Teacher appWith tap help: said aloud and not right, then tapped the right answer.

  • Game rewards are not learning.

WiWows, JiJees and the leaderboard belong to the game. They are left out of the progress pages and the report.

Teacher appWiWows, JiJees and the leaderboard are game rewards, not learning, so they aren't shown here.

  • No averages, no rankings.

Pupils are listed in name order. No class average is worked out, and nobody is ranked.

Teacher appThere are no class averages or rankings here.

  • The app never shows it to a pupil.

The progress pages are for the class's teacher and the school's admins. Who sees a printed report is up to you.

Teacher appNothing on this page is shown to pupils.
